A 1 week beginner friendly game design workshop for kids aged 11-19, made as a collaboration between me, Folkhälsodagarna i Nordanstig and my friend Sergiusz Stein.

For the project we developed a game template in Godot using the built in GD script language. It was made with a bunch of prefabs and art assets as well as basic functions that could easily be modified, so even the most inexperienced attendees could participate in the workshop

By the end of the project some of the finished games were showcased and playable for the public and every kid that wanted to continue working on their game got their zipped project emailed to them.

With over 30 attendees, 22 finished games and 15 that wanted them showcased both me and Sergiusz felt it was a successful as well as a super fun project
